A Cry For Help From Nanka Communities In Anambra State, Nigeria




The greatest threat to the environmental settings of Anambra state and southeastern Nigeria is the gradual but constant dissection of the landscape by soil erosion.

More than 16% of the entire land area of Anambra Nigeria is occupied by water-made gullies and erosions.

Most villages in Nanka have had their fair share and homes in Uga villages are dangling precariously and some villages are almost at the precipice of being wiped out.

The Federal and Anambra state governments need to come to the aid of her indigenes.
